WATCH: Data bundles rollover
Editor's note: This story has been updated with new informationConsumers will soonFrom Friday, some new regulations, enforced by the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa will come into play.
“After careful consideration, ICASA decided to extend the date for the implementation of the above regulations to 12 April 2019,” Icasa said in a statement. Icasa said regulations the transfer and rollover of unused data, will, however, be applicable and implemented with effect on March 2019.Icasa spokesperson Paseka Maleka explained consumers should be able to"roll their data over" or use it past its expiry date as well as transfer data to users in the same network.
