Irish weather forecast: Sweltering temperatures continue but Met Eireann warns of thunder and frost this week
Sweltering temperatures are set to continue today but there is a big change on the way later this week, Met Eireann has warned.
Parts of the country will also be battered by heavy and thundery rain on Wednesday and Thursday, as temperatures return to around the average for the time of year."Brightening up later this morning and for the afternoon with any showers becoming confined to the Northwest. "Minima of 8 to 11 degrees in mainly moderate east to southeast breezes, becoming fresher along the Northeast coast."
